Ron & Jeff King have long worked in acoustic mode as an offshoot of the legendary Foreday Riders, to play smaller more intimate venues. They have teamed up with Graeme Druce (Doggn’It, 12 Bar Dudes) as an acoustic trio and now have a great repertoire of original and traditional blues. The performance is a musical feast serving up classic Chicago blues, swinging rhythms, Latin grooves and New Orlean vibes , all executed with the flawless precision that defines these musicians. Blanchie’s Blues Ensemble Peter Blanch (“Blanchie”) has been around the traps for more years than he wants to mention. Having written numerous songs and performed solo gigs along the way. The Blues Ensemble is a group of seasoned musos, hand – picked by Blanchie, who are veterans and true lovers of what they call “Classic old school blues and rock”. Mixing a blend of old Chicago style blues through to up - tempo classics. Along with Blanchie’s unique vocals and acoustic guitar playing, the band features the talents of Bryan West on keyboards, Manny Farr on guitar, Sean Bowen on bass, Micky Macintyre on drums and Dave Welch on guitar and vocals.
